Operation Desert Storm – A Tribute to Those Who Served

Over the years, the U.S. armed services has proudly answered the call to protect and defend areas outside of our nation.

One example is Operation Desert Storm, also referred to as the First Gulf War.

On August 8, 1990, the ruler of Iraq, Saddam Hussain, declared Kuwait was now a part of Iraq. The UN took action and declared that Iraq had to remove their forces from Iraq by January 15, 1991 or face military action. On January 17, 1991, the UN military coalition, consisting of 34 countries and led by 698,000 U.S. troops, began the process of driving Hussain’s forces from Kuwait. 100 hours later, the war ended with a ceasefire, as the U.S. led coalition destroyed the Iraq occupation forces and freed Kuwait.

  • Crafted in the U.S., the Veteran Service Ribbon Ring features the Desert Storm campaign ribbon enameled in official colors, anchored by two personal birthstones on either side. The ring is made of solid Sterling Silver and finished in gleaming 24 karat gold.
  • The top of the Desert Storm Military Service Ring features a solid 10 karat gold service emblem set on black enamel. Eight personal birthstones flank the emblem. One side of the ring features the War medal and ribbon in official colors, while the other shanks displays an additional service emblem. Crafted in the U.S., the ring is solid sterling silver and plated with 24 karat gold.

Its 45mm gun metal black-plated alloy with pebbled bezel and stainless steel case back combine with a scratch-resistant, optically clear hard mineral crystal face to create a watch that is water resistant.
