A Tribute to Those Who Served in Korea

The United States military, comprised entirely of volunteers, is one of the largest militaries in the world. In modern times, the U.S. has used their strength to protect their interests around the world and help protect others threatened by outside invaders.  The US has often served as a lead in UN coalitions to protect those who aren’t able to protect themselves. One example is when the United States led the UN coalition into the Korean Peninsula to turn back the North Korean invasion.

What became known as the Korean War started on June 25, 1950, when North Korea crossed the 38th parallel and invaded South Korea. That same day, the United Nations recognized the invasion and called for a ceasefire. On June 27th, the UN adopted a resolution to send forces to aid South Korea. The U.S. military sent its air, sea and land forces to help the UN repel the invasion. The United States service members made up 88% of the total UN military coalition forces. Of those, 33,686 US soldiers gave everything and would not make it home.

  • The Korean War Service Ring features hand-chiseled lettering of the name of your service branch across the top of a service capstone. The lettering is framed by 10 brilliantly cut cubic zirconia. One side of the ring displays the Korean War medal and ribbon, while the other side is a replica of the Korean War Veterans Memorial with the words “FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.” Crafted in the USA, the ring is made of pure Sterling Silver and heavily plated with 24 karat gold.
  • The U.S. Veterans Service Medal Watch features a replica of the Korean Service medal on the dial, with the ribbon above the dial and the service branch emblem in full enameled colors below the dial. The watch case and adjustable bracelet are decorated with 23 karat gold.
  • The special dial, minted like a coin and set with a full-cut diamond at 12 o’clock, captures the detail of the Korean Service medal of the U.S. War Veterans Diamond Dress Watch. The dial is framed in a golden bezel etched with roman numerals and set in a two-tone watch case and dress bracelet, all decorated with 24 karat gold.
